A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies can be strictly necessary (needed to make a service work), functional (remembering preferences), analytics (measuring usage), or marketing (targeting advertising).

This marketing website sets one cookie, and only when you ask for it.

It is a static site that loads no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no third-party scripts that set cookies. You can confirm this in your browser’s developer tools. Until you use the DA/EN switch, the cookie jar for this site will be empty.

When you use the DA/EN switch, we remember your choice in a cookie named ourai.lang (value da or en) so you land in that language next time, and so the OurAI app and admin console open in the same language. It is set for ourai.dk and its subdomains, lasts 12 months, is written only when you click the switch, and identifies nobody. Until you have chosen, the site follows your browser’s language setting. This is a preference you asked for, so it needs no consent.

The site also stores one item in your browser’s local storage, which is not a cookie and is never sent to us or to anyone else. When you choose between For companies and For individuals, we remember that choice under the key ourai.audience (value company or individual) so the pages you visit next are written for you. It is written only when you click the switch, it identifies nobody, and clearing your browsing data for this site removes it. This too is a preference you asked for, so it needs no consent.

When you sign in to the OurAI product, we use the minimum cookies required to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure:

• –Session cookie. Strictly necessary. It keeps you signed in across pages, and expires when you sign out or your session times out.
• –CSRF protection token. Strictly necessary. It protects you from cross-site request forgery attacks and lasts only for the duration of your session.
• –Preference cookies for things like your interface language, theme and last-used workspace. Functional. They remember small UI preferences so the product feels consistent across visits, and last up to 12 months.

These cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under the ePrivacy Directive because they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested: the session and CSRF cookies keep the sign-in you initiated working and secure, and the preference cookies store only settings you have yourself chosen in the product, and remembering them is part of providing what you asked for. We set no cookies that would require consent.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social-media cookies, or any third-party tracking inside the product. Product usage telemetry, where it exists, is aggregated server-side and is not tied to your browser cookie.
